Custom Chess Board: Black Walnut & Resin ($600)

This chess board was a commissioned piece, and has been sold. If you would like a similar project, customized to your needs, please contact me.

This custom chess board was made from locally sourced black walnut and epoxy resin that has been dyed pacific blue. Matching chess pieces were hand made with epoxy molds. The squares are 2″ by 2″ each, the standard size for tournament play. Each square was hand placed and anchored as the resin cured. The final product is a chess board heirloom that will host memorable moments for decades to come.
